Anna Clarey’s paintings are on display at Essentia until the end of January.

Beach artist Anna Clarey is having a solo exhibition of her recent vibrantly-coloured paintings at Essentia, 2180 Queen St. E., for the month of January. For more information visit annaclarey.com, or myessenetia.com.

Members of the Beach Guild of Fine Art are holding a special one-day exhibition and sale, Jan. 23, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., in the Vendor Boutique at Toronto East General Hospital. There will be small paintings available for sale – none more than $60 – as well as gift cards, and prints.

Gerrard Art Space (GAS), 1390 Gerrard St. E. is hosting an exhibition of art works by NABET 700 CEP Technicians now through Feb. 3.

Cobalt Gallery, 870A Kingston Rd., presents The Menagerie: New Paintings by Melanie MacDonald, Feb. 2 through 24. MacDonald lives in St. Catharines and is a member of the Niagara Artists Centre. She has shown throughout Ontario, Quebec and Western New York. In 2008 her work was selected to grace the pages of Carte Blanche 2 which features 180 works by Canadian artists.
