This archival photograph of Bowmore Public School was taken within a few years of the completion of construction in 1925. The annex to the right was added in 1965. The addition was operated as Fairmount Park Senior School, and in 1989 both schools merged and became Bowmore Junior and Senior Public School. Do you have an old photo you’d like to share? I believe the annex shown here was to Bowmore. That would have occurred well before 1965. The Fairmount Park annex is not visible. It is to the right of this annex and is of much more modern construction.
