The Balmy Beach 1s continued its impressive push for the McCormick Cup by defeating London 31-0 on Oct. 15. Balmy Beach will now play Markham in the Oct. 22 semi-final clash. Balmy Beach was undefeated in the regular season – not only the 1s but also the 2s and 3s, making it an extraordinary season for the club.

Fauja Singh (left), 100 years of age, set eight world records on Oct. 13 at Birchmount Stadium. Singh also set the record for oldest person to complete the full marathon.
