A number of All Candidates Meetings have been scheduled in the run up to the provincial election on Oct. 6.
A Candidates Meeting will be on Sept. 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Beach United Church, 140 Wineva Ave., (just north of Queen). This event is co-hosted by Neighbourhood Link and Beach United Church.
On Sept. 29, Beach Metro News will hold its debate at St. John’s Norway Church (Woodbine/Kingston Road). To accommodate those celebrating Rosh Hashanah the starting time has been moved to 7:30 p.m.
In Scarborough Southwest the TDSB Education forum is also on Sept. 20. It will be held at Birchcliff C.I. (Danforth Ave/Birchmount), starting at 6 p.m.
On Sept. 29, the East Beach Community Association is hosting a debate for Scarborough Southwest candidates at the Birchmount Community Centre, 93 Birchmount Rd. starting at 7 p.m.
