DESCRIPTION:Back for it’s 12th year\, the DECA Danforth East Community Yard Sale is one of the biggest in the city – last year there were over 200 sales registered! There is an interactive map where you can register your sale\, and items you are selling – and bargain hunters can use the map to plot out their yard sale route! There is also a multi seller site at 200 Wolverleigh for those without yards\, and DECA will be collecting specific clothing and small kitchen items for donation to local community organization.

DESCRIPTION:Screening of the inspiring and heartwarming documentary “The Impossible Swim” (2018) about 16-year old Maya Farrell’s quest to swim across the widest part of Lake Ontario\, to be followed by a panel with one of the film’s directors Larry Weinstein\, as well as the star of the film Maya herself\, and fellow marathon swimmer and Beaches resident Lev Goldberg (first trans person to swim across Lake Ontario)! \nThis event will be a fundraiser for Lev’s 55km Lake Huron swim this August\, which is in support of LGBT Youthline
