SUMMARY:Toronto Nature Stewards
DESCRIPTION:Toronto Nature Stewards are volunteers who work in Glen Stewart Park removing invasive weeds and planting native species instead. This is a program approved by the City of Toronto Urban Forestry Division. Stewards work on Tuesday and Thursday mornings\, 10:00 a.m. till noon from May until September. The event is managed by Lead Stewards trained to follow agreed-upon protocols for ecological restoration. We work in Glen Stewart Park on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00 – noon.
