Police seek man in connection with alleged break-in attempt near Woodbine and Danforth avenues

Police in 55 Division are looking for Ephraim Ariyo Coar, 24, (inset photo) in connection with an alleged break-in attempt at a residence in the Woodbine and Danforth avenues area last month.

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection with an investigation into an alleged break-in attempt at residence in the area of Woodbine and Danforth avenues.

Police were called to the area on Saturday, March 25, for reports of a man allegedly ringing the doorbell of the residence and then lookin  inside through the front window where the homeowners were sitting

The man then allegedly tried to open the front door of the residence but was unable to gain access as the door was locked, police said.

The man was confronted by the homeowner and then walked to the rear of the residence before being asked to leave, police said.

Police are looking for Ephraim Ariyo Coar, 24, of Toronto, on a charge of attempted break-and-enter.

Police issued a news release on April 24 with an image of the man being sought in the hopes that someone will be able to provide information on his location.
