Man, 77, charged with sexual assault in connection with alleged incident involving 13-year-old girl in East York restaurant

A 77-year-old man is facing charges in connection with an alleged sex assault at restaurant in the Pape and Cosburn avenues area on April 12.

A 77-year-old man is facing charges after an incident in which a 13-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in an East York restaurant.

Police were called to the restaurant in the Pape and Cosburn avenues area on Wednesday, April 12, at approximately 10:04 p.m. for the reported incident.

According to police, a 13-year-old girl was at the restaurant and a man was sitting at a nearby table. When the girl walked by the man’s table he allegedly sexually assaulted her, police said.

On Sunday, April 16, Morris Tadros, 77, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

Police have released a photo of the accused and said in an April 19 news release that there may be more victims.
