Police seek help finding missing woman last seen near Danforth and Gillard avenues

Police are asking for the public's help in locating Sarah Tilahun Asres, 33, who was last seen Sunday, Jan. 20, in the Danforth and Gillard avenues area.

Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman who last seen in the Danforth Avenue area between Coxwell and Greenwood avenues.

According to police, Sarah Tilahun Asres, 33, of Toronto, was last seen on Sunday, Jan. 20 at approximately 1:50 p.m. in the Danforth Avenue and Gillard Avenue area.

She is described five-feet, five-inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with short dyed-blond hair that is shaved at the sides. She was last seen wearing a black and white scarf, a brown leather coat with white fur lapels, grey joggers and black boots. She was carrying a pink purse.

Police are concerned for her safety.
