Handel’s ‘Messiah’ and the scriptural verses that inspired it are the focus of a 10-session bible study group at St. John’s Norway Church, beginning Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m to noon. The workshops will be led by Sister Anne Norman, Sacristan and Music Co-ordinator at the Sisterhood of Saint John the Divine. She is a Music graduate of Dalhousie University and played violin in the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. Discussion and questions are welcome.
