No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you – this issue of Beach Metro News looks a bit different.
It’s been more than a decade since the paper was redesigned, far too long in newspaper design terms.
While we’ve changed the way we look, we haven’t changed what you love about Beach Metro: visually arresting photography, columns from local experts in a wide range of fields, and quality coverage of East End issues, news, and arts and entertainment that you won’t find anywhere else.
We would like to thank the many talented artists and designers who submitted logo concepts. There were many great options and the decision was not an easy one.
Special thanks go to designer Leslie Van Patter, whose work now adorns our front page and masthead.
To go along with the paper’s new look is a completely redesigned website, now fully optimized for mobile and tablet viewing. Check out beachmetro.com for breaking news, lively commenting, and additional photos.
