Monarch Park Tree Tour-5236

November 5, 2013

Arborist Jessica Piskorowski of LEAF (Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests) speaks about the emerald ash borer infestation that is threatening some 860,000 ash trees in Toronto during an Oct. 19 tree tour in Monarch Park. Sixty-two new trees were planted in the park this year, and all have volunteers to water, mulch and weed them thanks to the new Friends of Monarch Park group. PHOTO: Andrew Hudson
