Max Comelli-Goddard, who lives on Lee Avenue, celebrated his fourth birthday on Feb. 29. But technically, one could say that was his first birthday since he was born on a leap year.
Along with the other 4.8 million “leaplings” in the world, Max celebrated in style with a Batman-themed party with his best pals at the Beaches Rec Centre.
Leap Years, which consist of 366 days, exist to keep the calendar in synch with the Earth’s orbit around the Sun.
