On Dec. 3, there will be a community consultation drop-in at the Boardwalk Pub (Woodbine Beach). The purpose of the drop-in, which runs from 3:30 to 5 p.m., is to inform the community about the future renovations to the site that have been approved by the city.
Councillor Mary-Margaret McMahon said that “no more parkland has been approved” for use in the new plans. Current work on the site is for a traffic turn-around requested by the city to prevent congestion in the summer and for a demolition permit which has already been approved. No construction permit has as yet been issued.
George Foulidis, owner of the pub, and McMahon will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
